I have known Kerri forever, and i had the pleasure a couple years ago of shooting her wedding. Kerri and Jimmy now have the cutest little baby, Jake. He might have been the best baby i have ever taken photos of, seriously not a single cry.
When we made plans for this November 11th engagement shoot, it was nice and warm in early October. But mother nature decided to skip fall, and head quickly towards winter with the temperature. But the fall leaves were out making for a great backdrop. I am looking forward to Jen and Matt's wedding next year in Baltimore, it was great shooting their engagement, and wedding's are always more fun than the engagement shoots.
So Jill emailed me 2 weeks ago with the great idea of surprising her husband Steven with a photoshoot at their reception location on their 4th anniversary. Everything was totally a surprise including the tux hidden in his car's trunk. The photos were great fun, and we even included their son in some of the pictures, a total ladies man in his little tux.
What are the odds that it might rain in Maryland, recently, pretty low. But today looked like rain all day, but it held off perfectly and gave us great weather for Lynnett and Rictor to squeaze in an engagement shoot before their party.
This wedding was really fun for me, since like Lauren and Larry I had spent several years of my life on the UMCP campus. It's such a great place to get married, the weather was perfect, and love was in the air. So I wish them the best in their marriage, and here are a couple pictures from their special day.
What could be more fun than a bride who is willing to have some fun, and a groom with access to a fire station, and more importantly a fire hose :) We did start out at Savage Mill where they got married for some shots on the bridge that excaped our wedding day timeline. And then it was off to find a fire truck, and that fire hose.....
